John Sherwood is a multi-disciplinary artist. He is creative in response to issues and themes that emerge as he lives and works. John has an open-ended approach, and works without rigid preconceptions as to medium, subject matter, style and audience. He is currently painting and making digital art.

Directions

From the A65 go up West Street towards the canal in the direction of Mark House Lane. Cross over the canal and the studio is on your left - it adjoins a black and white house, and there is a field opposite.

Parking

You can park on the street outside the studio.

Access

Wide door with lip, but should not present a problem for wheelchairs.

Toilets

Ground floor toilet, but step up into toilet.

Studio experience

John Sherwood's work will be displayed alongside that of Allison Wiffen and Sarah Pawson, in Allison’s studio where she does her making. As well as seeing the main studio area, you will also be able to see the kiln room with work in progress. John shall have media and tools of the trade on display as he works on one of his pictures.
