Shirley working practice conveys her emotional connection to nature using clay, found material or paint to make 2D or 3D pieces. Her new series of ceramic stoneware sculptural forms are made by hand building, layering texture, adding components that can be playfully altered to change the mood of a piece.

Situated in the small village of Lebberston, in between Filey and Scarborough, a mile from the sea. Take the B1261 either from A64 or A165 to Lebberston, turn onto Manor View Road, into the village past Ox House, a white house on right that used to be a pub, as the road starts to bend on the right corner you will see stone and wooden gates and plaque on wall, Lebberston Hall.
Park up the driveway if room, or on Green Lane which you will see next to driveway.

An opportunity to see the new showroom , allowing visitors to see pieces in an home interior space. Work will also be displayed in the interesting artist garden which visitors are welcome to wander around. Shirley will be demonstrating some of her surface decorating techniques in her studio.
