4 Alma Square
|Alma Studios is situated in a leafy square just one minutes walk from the railway station and Stephen Joseph theatre at the top of Westborough. The Lord Roseberry pub is on the corner of Alma Square.|
There is limited on street parking via pay and display in Alma Square but plentiful parking in several car parks and nearby streets within a couple of minutes walk of Robs studio.
The ground floor painting studio is accessed by three stone steps but unfortunately there is no disabled access to the basement printmaking studios.
Local at the nearby Lord Roseberry pub or railway station.
Visitors to Alma Studios will see the current work in hand for a large exhibition of my own paintings and prints for an exhibition at The Inspire Gallery in Danby in October 2019 plus other recent and historic pieces.
A variety of printmaking processes is also on display in the workshops below the painting studio in the form of prints by myself and other artists whose work I have collected.
I will be working on prints and paintings during NYOS and I am happy to share with visitors my thoughts about my ideas and processes.
I always have a number of sketchbooks on the go that will be made available for people to look at and see where the more resolved work starts its journey.
