Statement

My work reflects my memories of Yorkshire. Reflections of me, both at the time of seeing, and the time of creation. Colour and texture portray the strength of feeling, whilst the use of print represents their finality. I'm inspired by the beautiful sights; the complex interplay of how nature and civilisation co-exist and continue to evolve to this day.

Directions

The studio is attached to a modern house on the right hand side of Northgate, just after the bend. The shared drive slopes down quite steeply. The narrow gravel path to the studio is at the left hand side of the house. There are two steps, then a gate. Turn right behind the building, then two more steps. The final step is quite large. The studio door is on the right. There is a further step inside, between the two rooms.

Parking

There is parking for three or four cars at the front of the house and studio, but please park to the right hand side as I share the drive with my neighbour. There is on street parking further along Northgate (but double yellow lines directly outside). There is also parking in the square near the White Swan pub in the centre of the village, about ten minutes walk away.

Access

There is NO disabled access. The narrow gravel path to the studio is at the left hand side of the house. There are two steps, then a gate. Turn right behind the building, then two more steps. The final step is quite large. The studio door is on the right. There is a further step inside, between the two rooms.

Toilets

There is a toilet in the studio.
