Lyn’s linocuts are taken from everyday experiences and observations of her surroundings of the North Yorkshire Moors and coastline. She strives to capture the movement in the landscapes and the creatures she encounters through mark making. Lyn’s most recent work is focused on British birds in and around the garden, in particular the charismatic Blackbird.

I would like to once again share exhibiting space with local artists nearby to my studio space, which is not safe for the public. I will transport my working desk exactly as it is, with inks, rollers, sketches, plates etc as a starting point for conversation with visitors. It would also enable me to do demonstrations.
