Kim Coley
Statement
Kim uses “visual song writing” as an analogy for her creative process and is interested in the tensions between observation and expression.
Influences include the philosopher Richard Sennett (author of The Craftsman) amongst many others.
She works in acrylic, household paint, ink, charcoal, pastel, oil, collage, mixed media and print.

From Harrogate take the Leeds Road (A61)- travel through Pannal then at the large roundabout turn left onto the A658 towards York. Take the first right to Kirkby Overblow. Stoney Cottage is next door but one to the Shoulder of Mutton in the village centre.

Kirkby Overblow is a historic village with wonderful walks and views. With a telescope you can see York Minster. The Shoulder of Mutton is a welcoming pub and provides hearty lunches
