Elisabeth uses red earthenware body fired to 1100°C. Work is decorated with simple animal and bird drawings. Hot wax is painted over first glaze layer then piece is dipped in another glaze colour. During firing the wax burns away leaving outlines which move with the shape of the piece.

Leave A170 at roundabout, turn into Kirkbymoorside, come up the main street. Church Street is the second right hand turn opposite the first left hand turn. The Moorside Rooms are approximately 100 yards off the main street on the left-hand side at the base of church steps.
