Statement

David studied fine art at Harrogate college and Wimbledon School of Art, London. Much of his work over recent years has been project based such as: ‘In the Footsteps of Turner’ and the ongoing ‘River Ure Project’, an artist’s exploration of the river in words and pictures.

Studio experience

David’s studio gives a full flavour of the artist’s working process showing both finished and unfinished works, a wide range of materials for painting, drawing and sculpture, sketchbooks and studio equipment. There is also access to the beautiful 18th century walled garden and parkland.
