I use a variety of new and recycled materials to make sculptures, for house or garden, that reflect my interest in the natural world, in particular wild and domestic birds and animals. Each subject is a study of anatomy and behaviour, aiming for a sense of movement and life.
From West and Boroughbridge follow signs to Helperby. Take junction to Pilmoor /Sessay. In 1.5 miles, take left turn to Pilmoor Hall, follow tree-lined avenue for 250mtrs. Beech House on the left.
From East and A19 direction take junction to Hutton Sessay. Follow signs to Sessay/ Helperby. Fork at church following sign to Helperby. Over railway bridge and under pylons, next right turn to Pilmoor Hall as above.

There will be opportunities to talk to artists about their practice, the creative processes and tools and equipment involved. I’ll be working on a wire sculpture outside.
