Adam has been painting and teaching for nearly 40 years with a wealth of knowledge into most areas of art and design. Adam produces work using a broad range of media from painting in both oils and Acrylics to printmaking, etching, screen and wood block. Adam responds the his local environment it’s people, architecture and landscape. Adam’s current work explores the history of Scarborough in his unique and recognisable way with confidence and colour.

The studio is the first building on your left up Gladstone lane
It is painted bright pink
There is some free parking on the lane and lots more 2 hour disc parking 5 minutes away in Gladstone street
The downstairs area has full wheelchair access with a large ramp leading to two french doors for easy access. The studio space is large and all on one level
There are two toilets in the studio
One on the ground floor and another upstairs
Visitors will be able to see my working practice through ongoing demonstrations and a huge range of exhibited work. All visitors are encouraged to route through my plan chests of both preliminary and finished work. There will also be an exhibition of my current work.
The studio is a large space with an interesting and quirky collection of items. Adam is always very welcoming and makes all visitors feel very included
