StatementChris approaches her wire sculptures as three-dimensional drawings. Wire is a dynamic medium, suitable for conveying the innate energy of an animal subject. The wire leads the eye around the anatomical from, relaying and exploring the visual rhythms of circles and curves contained within it. Recent work includes life-size hares, sheep and dogs, and some of these will be shown in the garden. Preparatory sketches, finished drawings and cards are also available to view and/or purchase.
