StatementHaving changed to 'safe printmaking' Heather has experimented with intaglio-type etching for several years, her main subjects being landscape and plant studies. She has explored black and white methods but has also investigated different ways of using colour - chine collé, oil crayon, printing inks and using giclee prints of her own drawings as a substrate. Drawing is always the basis of her work and is evident both in black and white landscapes and colour plant studies.
