StatementFor over 20 years Steve's work has included major public commissions, lecturing, project management and consultancy. His evocative and poetic semi-abstract paintings celebrate the British landscape and explore a personal response to literary sources. The work he produces combines imagery and rhythms from the world around us to create a new visual iconography that can also express inner moods and emotions. He often works to commission for private clients and interior designers, and also undertakes portrait commissions.
