Using found papers and a wide range of drawing media, she explores the primacy of hand-drawn marks. Her work appears to be in a state of urgent communication and the intensity of her worked surfaces reach out in a scream both visual and silent. Sally has exhibited widely nationally and internationally and she was shortlisted for the 2009 Jerwood Drawing Prize.
