StatementMaureen is interested in the underlying structure of landscape and the patina on its surface created by animals, plants, humans and the elements. Her intention is to express ideas, associations and emotions evoked by particular places. She works in watercolour, oil, acrylic and mixed media. Maureen has a DA from Edinburgh College of Art and has exhibited at the RSA and RSW in Edinburgh, Harrogate's Mercer Gallery, Dumfries Gracefield Arts Centre, and in group and solo shows in Yorkshire.
